Host an EF Foundation student this July

Our students are from over 40 countries in the world, they are 15-18 years old and come to Australia to study in a local high school and live with an Australian host family. They aim of the program is to promote global understanding through cultural exchange and we know that our students and host families make friends for life. Our next group of students arrive on 17th July 2010.

We are always looking for new host families and new International Exchange Coordinators and, as well as yourselves, you may know a friend or relative who would also like to host or actually help with supervision and placements. You need not stick to your own area but look to relatives or friends who live elsewhere in Australia who may be interested. We are currently offering a $300 recommend a friend bonus for anyone that recommends a family that go on to host a student for us.

Welcome host – if you cannot commit to the full year could you be a welcome host family for a student for the first 8-12 weeks of their stay here? This will enable them to come and settle in and then we will replace them within the area at the end of your time of hosting. This can be a great experience for everyone.

Please help this year by hosting a student or even passing on details of a family you feel would be good to host themselves. If you contact us in the office we can send you profiles of students that may match your family or talk through this further!
